Intervention
What I learned: In this assignment I learned how to
apply a theory based behavior change model to develop nutrition education
materials, assessments, questionnaires, and how to present the materials to a
class.
Reflection to assignment: In this assignment I was taught the
importance of using theory based intervention strategies to achieve the best
nutrition education results. It has showed me that using a proven method can be
much more effective than blindly trying to teach a topic.
Relevance to the profession: Community nutrition often involves group
interventions for people who need help with making a behavior change. Knowing
how theory based models work is essential in developing proper nutrition
education materials.
