I am a happy mother to a sweet daughter named Evalynn and a wonderful son named Benjamin. I am very passionate for providing them with a healthy lifestyle and teaching them how to love food, love their bodies, and love themselves wholeheartedly.
I
am also a student at California State University, Chico and will soon have my
bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science with the option in General
Dietetics. I currently work for the Center for Nutrition and Activity
Promotion, which is a grant funded program that promotes healthy eating and
physical activity in the community. I
work though one of their programs called OPT for Healthy Living as a Community
Nutrition Assistant. I work as a front desk assistant that involves
communicating with clients and scheduling appointments. I also assist in the development and
presentation of nutrition education materials for a food budgeting and cooking
demonstration class. I am a confident public speaker, reliable, professional,
and enthusiastic about my work. My long term goal is to work as a registered
dietitian at the Women, Infants, and Children program. About Me |
